I&#8217;m happy to report that since I began paying attention to the trend for my own name, Christopher, back in 2005, it&#8217;s dropping trend as reversed.  In 2004, <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.casey.com\/blog\/archives\/2005\/05\/christopher_is.html\">Christopher was #10<\/a>.  In 2005, it had <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.casey.com\/blog\/archives\/2006\/05\/a_christopher_c.html\">risen to #9<\/a>.  In 2006, it <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.casey.com\/\">jumped to #7<\/a>.  And now I&#8217;m happy to tell you that for the year 2007, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ssa.gov\/OACT\/babynames\/\">Christopher was the #6 most popular name for boys<\/a>.To all of my fellow new Christophers out there, I bid you a fond welcome to the world.
